She has become a staple both on in the recording studio as well as on the stage, including work with Brandi Carlile, Missy Higgins, Dar Williams, Katie Herzig, Amy Ray, Allison Russell and Rachel Yamagata.
A lifelong advocate for creatives, she is the owner and founder of MOXE, a production entity and residential recording studio located on nearly 20 acres in the hills just north of downtown Nashville.
Beyond her creative work, Hamlin is committed to advancing gender equity in music and technical fields, serving as a National Trustee of the Recording Academy, co-chairing Nashville's Producer & Engineering Wing, and contributing to initiatives like the 2023 report on gender marginalized creators, ""Fix the Mix,"" as well as being part of the advocacy behind the TN State Senate's passing of the ELVIS Act to protect artists' rights in the digital landscape.
As a composer, recent works include a score for the Nashville Ballet-debuted 72 Steps, a work exploring the ratification of the 19th Amendment.

📝 Bio: “A Texas native, Lessie Vonner is a NYC-based trumpeter with extensive performance experience across diverse musical genres and international venues. Hailing from Grand Prairie, Lessie’s love of music began at an early age. Having read E.B. White’s Trumpet of the Swan, Lessie was inspired to pick up the trumpet at age eleven. Her passion encouraged her to pursue music education at the renowned Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City.
Lessie currently performs in music scenes across the world with some of music’s biggest names. 📝 Bio: “Cindy Cashdollar (yes, it actually is a real name) grew up in Woodstock, NY and was greatly influenced by the variety of artists that lived & performed there at that time (Paul Butterfield, The Band, Happy & Artie Traum, & Van Morrison to name a few), as well as the variety of name acts that toured through the area, since Woodstock was only 100 miles from NYC.
A fan of roots music early on, Cindy started out on guitar, but the Dobro, lap steel, & the steel guitar would eventually become her instrumentation.
She is a recipient of five Grammy awards & was the first woman to be inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame, & the second woman to be honored by the Country Music Of Fame’s “Nashville Cats” roster for her years of contributions as a side musician in both recorded and live music. ”
