At MOXE, we’re firm believers in the idea that place affects what you create.

MOXE: A Creative Home for Music that Lasts MOXE is a 20-acre residential recording studio and creative retreat founded by Jordan Brooke Hamlin in Nashville, TN. It’s a place designed not just to capture recordings, but to restore and protect the creative process itself.

When artists make work at MOXE, they join a growing community — a network of alumni connected by a shared commitment to artistry, collaboration, and creative sustainability. Over time, MOXE is building not just records, but a living archive of artists, songs, and stories made with care.

In addition to our Rupert Neve Designs 5088 console and a collection of inspiring instruments, microphones and gear, we’ve also built custom sound design sculptures and other elements that go beyond function to try and create an experience.

The space offers multiple "reverb rooms" or “echo chambers” of various shapes and sizes in addition to smaller and controlled isolation booths. Most every room in the house - including the tiled master bathroom, dining room and foyer - is wired and ready for any idea you may wish to try.

While anyone can make amazing sounds happen here, we think it’s particularly well-equipped for the sonically curious.
